Actually, this situation shows how many GW players are actively reading forums and wikis and stuff.

I am ticked off to say the least. Me, hubby and son all play and hubby was the first to get one. Now when I tried it said I had already registered with the email addy. Ummmmm no! I sent them an email. They best give me my mini!!!

I got my code 5 hours after sending the email.

I think there's a bunch of gamerzines employees cursing and swearing at somebody for their bright idea now

They obviously bit off way more than they can chew. Maybe Anet should have warned them, hahaha.

Did it give you the message it gave me though? Saying that the email was already registered? My hubby ended up getting an email saying that a new code was requested when it wasn't. I used my email address for my account.

It tracks submissions by IP address. SO if you've got more than one account, you need to email them and let them know. They will send you a new key. They've done so for me, as well as all my husband/wife guildmate couples.

True, but the real question is, what percentage is that of active players? My guess would be a fairly big percentage.

between guru crashing and not being able to get to the magazine site for over an hour this am (thats 3am eastern I believe)....I played for a bit and kept trying on my 2ndary computer (its japanese---everything is in japanese, and no I dont want to put a new os on it either

)....so I am not sure which adobe or flash it has, but seeing as my main (gaming) computer doesnt have adobe, I opened it up on the other....I got some err the first time, but typing quickly the 2nd time I got to the submit before it crashed! and not even a minute later there was the code in my in box...and WOW it worked!.....
I was a bit discouraged to begin with seeing as the site was down, this thread was already on page 38....but I kept trying and finally got thru!

And seeing as the hubby is a geologist he thinks its a neat 'pet too!

glad it was free, just not so happy the ONLY way you would get one is if you knew what was going on on either this site or asked someone in game.....not exactly the best way to promote it I think.

ive just got my pet a few mins ago and it was less then a minute , just download the file and there will be a adobe thing , click on the miniature , give ur email and name and theyre mail you ur code
